Florida Custom Mold, Inc. a privately held company incorporated in 1988. Throughout the growth of our company, we have moved from being a custom mold maker supporting a small number of customers to a Total Solution Provider - offering services such as modeling, injection molding of plastic parts, as well as UV printing and turnkey assembly. In addition, we offer numerous secondary services such as threaded insert installation - serving in excess of 150 clients each year.

Looking for highly skilled metal working craftsman who can take it from art to part. This candidate will be able to diagnose problems and repair them.

Mold makers must be able to inspect products and select the correct shop equipment, precision measuring devices and other tools needed for a job. They also should be able to identify problems during a task and create solutions. Mold makers must have active learning, judgement, time management, and organizational skills

Minimum requirements:

5 years of experience in plastic injection mold building or prototype part making.

Have own tools.

Able to operate all standard mold shop equipment, such as manual lathe, mill,

surface grinder, EDM, bench/table saw, drill press, drill/cutter sharpener

Able to give good estimate of time of completion for task(s) at hand.

Able to handle task under time constraint condition to meet deadline.

Able to work with minimal supervision.

Team player

CAD/CAM experience is a plus.
